Dennis Thibeault, Owner and DVM

Dr. Thibeault established the practice in 2008. He received his BS in Biology from Fairfield University and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 1994. 
Dr. T is also certified in Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue.
In his free time Dr. Thibeault also enjoys skiing and is a black belt in karate.

Michelle Johnson, DVM, Veterinary Associate

Dr. Johnson received her BS in Biology from Midway College in Kentucky and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2010. 
Dr. J is also certified to perform Acupuncture on all animal species.
When she is not working she enjoys yoga and taking her dogs for hikes.
Dr. Hall owns Coastal Valley Veterinary Services and is the primary provider of our back-up emergency coverage. www.coastalvalleyvet.com


Rylee Starr, Veterinary Assistant

Rylee was born and raised in Tolland, CT. Since she was little, she has had a passion for helping and caring for animals. Rylee is actively involved in 4-H, enjoying showing alpacas, tractor pulls and taking on a number of leadership roles.

She is going into her first year at UConn and is planning to major in Animal Science and minor in Ecology/Evolutionary Biology. In her free time she loves to star gaze, go for walks with her dog and ride dirt bikes. She has been apart of Green Valley since 2021.


Maeve Hollern, Veterinary Assistant

Maeve was born in Ohio where her family has a farm and raised in Jamestown, North Carolina. From a young age she has been passionate about animal care and community service, volunteering at the animal shelter and library in her hometown since elementary school. Maeve began volunteering at Green Valley in 2025 and became a staff member in 2026. She is currently studying Animal Science and Natural Resources and the Environment on the Pre-Veterinary track focusing in wildlife biology at UConn and is entering her senior year. Maeve hopes to have a mixed animal practice and volunteer at a wildlife rehab. In her free time Maeve enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, reading and all things outdoors. 



Lynne Dooley

Lynne Dooley is a CT native who has returned to the area after many years on Cape Cod. She has a huge love of all animals, especially her Black lab, Ruby Roo Wigglebutts, and her temperamental cat BooBoo.  Apart from her time with us she is a full time mom. 
  Ruby enjoys taking her for long hikes in and around the best squirrel chasing areas.
